Three BK UPGRIS Students Participate in the Teaching Practice and Community Service Program in Southern Thailand

SEMARANG – Three students from the Guidance and Counseling (BK) Study Program, Universitas PGRI Semarang (UPGRIS), have received a valuable opportunity to participate in the Teaching Practice and Community Service program in Southern Thailand. This international program will take place from January 15 to February 13, 2026, and is organized by Universitas PGRI Semarang in collaboration with the Al-Hidayah Foundation.

The three students selected for the program are Fadliyatu Soimah, Mita Lestari, and Shitarani Dewi. Their participation is a concrete manifestation of UPGRIS’s commitment to supporting the development of student competencies through cross-cultural learning experiences and community service at the international level.

While in Southern Thailand, the participants will conduct teaching practices in local educational institutions and get actively involved in various social and community service activities. This program is expected to enhance their pedagogical skills, intercultural communication abilities, and broaden the students’ global perspectives.

The Head of the BK UPGRIS Study Program expressed appreciation for the enthusiasm and dedication of the students who successfully qualified for this international program. In addition to bringing honor to the study program, the participants are also expected to serve as campus ambassadors who can introduce Indonesian culture while establishing good relations with the people of Thailand.
