Semarang, March 9, 2025 – The Guidance and Counseling Study Program (BK) of Universitas PGRI Semarang (UPGRIS) successfully conducted a Team Teaching activity entitled “Understanding Individuals Through Testing Techniques” as part of the learning process in the main building of UPGRIS. This activity was carried out as an effort to strengthen students’ understanding of individual assessment through testing techniques in the field of guidance and counseling.
The activity involved collaboration between lecturers from different countries, namely Dr. Padmi Dyah Yulianti, S.Pd., M.Psi., Psikolog from Universitas PGRI Semarang and Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ibrahim Yakasai from Sule Lamido University. This international collaboration provided students with broader perspectives regarding the application of testing techniques to understand individuals more deeply.
Through this Team Teaching session, students not only received theoretical materials but also gained insights into how assessment techniques can be applied effectively in counseling services. The activity encouraged students to develop critical thinking skills and improve their competence as future professional counselors.
The implementation of this international learning activity reflects BK UPGRIS’s commitment to providing innovative and globally oriented learning experiences. Through academic collaboration, students are expected to have wider knowledge, stronger professional skills, and better readiness in understanding individual characteristics through appropriate assessment approaches
